Paladin Princess Celestia

"Milady, the invaders have broke pass the barriers!" One of the guards warned urgently upon entering the throne room. "They will reach Canterlot's main gate in no time if we don't stop them!"

The Royal Guards murmured with each other at that, some were giving their comrades the benefit of doubt while others tried their best to instill whatever motivations they have left to everyone else.

However, as noisy as they were, they were immediately silenced when Princess Celestia raised a palm to the air; a quiet demand of silence to her loyal subjects.

Unlike any other occasion where she was usually dressed in her formal garb, the Princess of the Sun was now decked in a gleaming golden armor that she wished she wouldn't ever wear throughout her whole reign.

"Any news from my sister?" She asked calmly to one of the guards near to her side.

Said guard shook his head solemnly. "Not a single word. It seems the Lunar Guards have their hands full as much as we do. Safe to say, we will not be having their help any time soon."

Princess Celestia sighed. "We have no other choice then." she declared as she stood up from her seat, the clanking of her gleaming armor resonating across the hall. "Prepare the carriage. I shall join the battle myself."
